García: Facebook cuenta con más de 12 millones de usuarios hispanos entre 18 y 34 años
Andres Garcia, client partner US Hispanic of Facebook, was present as a panelist in the third edition of WebCongress Miami, where he shared insights and figures about the behavior of the millennial via mobile, and the importance of representing Facebook for brands when connecting with this sector.”Everyone thinks that is changing to digital or mobile, but really that already changed,” Garcia said to PRODU. “We must be prepared for this new environment to interact with people, because people are spending more time each day on their mobile phones at the end,” he added.According to Garcia, currently 80% of people in the US, are near their phone while they are awake. He noted that Facebook currently has 86 million users between 18 and 34 years, and specifically in the Hispanic market totaling more than 12 million within the same group.”In terms of volume Facebook have no other platform that you can compare to. What we want is to make brands understand the importance and scope, and adapt their Facebook campaigns based on their marketing results not only on social metrics,” he said.After one year of its launch, García announced the development of a department dedicated to the Hispanic market in the US towards multicultural. “We just launched African American approach, which will have other multiculturalities in the US, advertisers will be able to get their messages in a way that was never possible before,” he concluded.
